The common error sources of strain gauge target flowmeter are as follows:
The effect of density on measurement is the most common. During the routine calibration, water or air is used to replace the tested medium. In the specific application, the relative density of the two is different. Even if the measured medium and the correction medium are the same, the relative density of the same medium under different temperature and working pressure is also different.
When the flowmeter works, the output voltage of the sensor is proportional to the strain. If the basic resistance values of multiple resistors inside the sensor are different or the bonding is asymmetric, the output voltage of the sensor and the strain no longer maintain a direct proportion relationship. When the temperature relativity in the field is extreme, the adhesive inside the controller and the strain gauge have different thermal deformation and convergence, which results in the change of the friction resistance of the strain gauge, and the temperature change will also change the resistance coefficient of the strain gauge. Even if the full electric bridge method is adopted, the output voltage will be partially affected.
When the flowmeter is in a long time or the force is too strong, there is a certain amount of deformation of the target rod, and then there is a measurement error. When there is no fluid passing through, the sensor has strain voltage output, in this case, there is a certain error in the measurement value. When the target flowmeter leaves the factory, the manufacturer will set the zero point horizontally. However, due to the influence of external factors such as the actual use angle on site, the flowmeter should be reset to zero again.
