1. Main uses of intelligent Vespa flowmeter

Basic principle of Vespa flowmeter

When the fluid passes through the probe, a high-pressure main production area is created in the front side, and the working pressure of the high-pressure main production area is slightly higher than the negative pressure of the pipeline. According to the basic principle of Bernoulli equation, the speed of fluid passing through the probe is accelerated, resulting in a low-pressure main production area behind the probe, and the working pressure of the low-pressure main production area is slightly lower than the negative pressure of the pipeline. The flow of fluid from the probe creates a part of vacuum pump at the back of the probe, and vortex appears on both sides of the probe. The cross section of the probe, the surface roughness and the position of the low pressure tap hole are the primary conditions to determine the characteristics of the probe. Under the action of vortex street force, dust, gravel and particles are concentrated at the back of the probe. That's why autumn leaves have been concentrated behind downwind houses. Other probes are located in the vacuum pump area at the end of the probe because of the low-pressure tap hole. Under the action of vortex street force, the low-pressure tap hole of the probe is quickly blocked by the residue generated by the vortex. Vespa's unique design allows the low pressure taphole to be located on both sides of the probe, at the front of the fluid separation point and the wake area. In essence, this kind of design scheme can avoid blocking and create a very stable low-voltage data signal.

It is very critical that the low-pressure hole is located on both sides of the probe, and the fluid passes through the surface obliquely, so that the low-pressure hole is not easy to be swept, while other probes are very easy to be blocked, because their low-pressure hole is in the low-pressure fluctuating area where the residue gathers.

Extremely low installation cost of intelligent Vespa flowmeter
